Equalizer

Equalizer is a node that participates in consensus in the Equilibrium engine, EQBR's own blockchain engine. Use the EQ Hub to quickly and easily create an Equalizer and join the blockchain network!

You can participate as a node in an operating blockchain network by following the steps below in order.

Creating the Equalizer

Click [ Network ] - [ Node ] to access the Node List page. After that, click the [ Create a new Node ] button to enter the Equalizer creation page.
You can easily create an Equalizer by following the procedure described below on the Create Equalizer page.

Setting Equalizer Information

Create an equalizer, select a network to participate in a specific blockchain network, register a keystore file to prove that you are a node, and receive rewards for consensus.

Before to start
When creating an Equalizer, registering the keystore file in the Equalizer is required.
The keystore file is required because Equalizer needs to prove that it is a node in order to participate in consensus. Prepare a keystore file to be registered in Equalizer for smooth node setup.
If you already have enough keystore files, you can use them as is. If you need a keystore file, you can get it directly.

If there is no keystore file, click the [Don't you have a keystore file?] button to enter the keystore file creation modal and enter your password to download the keystore file encrypted with the entered password.
Equalizer can be created by registering the downloaded keystore file.

The password registered when creating the keystore file cannot be changed or restored.

Data	Description	Example
`Network / Microchain`	As an Equalizer, you can choose which network you want to participate in
`Node Specs`	Instance specification of Equalizer. Set the same as the instance specifications of Equalizers participating in the blockchain network.
`Keystore file`	Register the keystore file in each node so that you can receive a reward for consensus and prove that you are a node. If the keystore file does not exist, click the [Don't you have a keystore file?] button to create one. Only for nodes that exist on one network, the same keystore file cannot be used repeatedly.

Preparing to deploy Equalizer

After checking the created Equalizer information, click the [Submit] button to prepare for Equalizer distribution. When you are ready to deploy Equalizer, you can start deploying anytime.

Deploying Equalizer

Equalizer can be deployed by clicking the [Deploy] button on the prepared Equalizer. The environment takes about 10 minutes to be built through the automated infrastructure system. Equalizer deployment results can be confirmed via email, and notifications can be received within the EQ Hub.

Concluding

Through the above process, we have successfully built Equalizer on the blockchain network. For Equalizer to participate in the network's consensus, after transferring the number of coins to be staked to the address of Equalizer, start staking and consensus using ENMC.

Consensus
In order for the deployed Equalizer to normally proceed with consensus and receive consensus reward, it is necessary to prove your stake in the Equalizer. The higher the stake, the more chance to create in the block, and the greater the consensus reward.
